Monterey Pine Is the most widely planted pine in the world. Rapid growth and desirable lumber and pulp qualities cause it to be the leading introduced species in many countries. In these countries, Monterey pine is a mainstay of the forest economy, serving internal markets, generating valuable foreign exchange reserves as an export, and reducing cutting pressure on native forests. First noted by Thomas Coulter at Monterey, CA, in 1830.

Monterey Pine is very spacious with 4 bedrooms, 1 & 3/4 bathroom cabin. Furnishings include 5 full size beds, 2 new and very comfortable futons in the living room and ceiling fans. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and a microwave. The cabin has a sliding patio door that leads out to a large deck for you to sit and relax or watch the stars at night. You have your privacy with this cabin which sits among the trees, yet close enough to the playground allowing you to watch the children play at the playground, and still having a very nice view of the lake. Enjoy cooking outside as each cabin has a Weber grill, picnic table, and a fire ring. Included in the cabin rental is one dock slip and the use of the Water Toys.
