White Pine
Also called northern white pine, is one of the most valuable trees in eastern North America. Before the arrival of white men, virgin stands contained an estimated 3.4 billion of lumber. The late 1800's had logged most of those vast stands. Because it is among the more rapid growing northern forest conifers, it is an excellent tree for reforestation projects, landscaping, and Christmas trees and has the distinction of having been one of the more widely planted American trees.
White Pine is a charming 2 bedroom, 3/4 bathroom cabin just 60' from the Lake. Furnishing includes 2 full size beds, Log Futon in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, over-the-stove microwave, and a picnic table. Enjoy cooking outside over the charcoals in the Weber grill and eating on the 18' x 12' Deck accessed by the 8' wide patio door overlooking the lake. Or sitting by an evening campfire. Included in the cabin rental is one dock slip and the use of the Water Toys.
