Virginia Pine

     Has a definite place among trees of commercial importance in spite of once being considered a "forest weed" and called scrub pine. Also known as Jersey pine and spruce pine, it does so well in reforesting abandoned and cut over lands that it has become a principal source of pulpwood and lumber in the southeast. Virginia pine is commonly a small or medium-sized tree but a record tree has been measured 31.8" in diameter and 114' tall.

Virginia Pine is a beautiful 3 bedroom cabin built in 1998 and remodeled in 2004. This cabin has a large full size bathroom with ceramic tile flooring. Wood vaulted ceilings along with wood floors in the kitchen and living area. For your comfort, this cabin is equipped with central air conditioning, water softner, ceiling fans, and a large kitchen including a dishwasher. Kitchen table and futon is log furniture. Sleeping arrangements have one queen bed, two full size beds and a comfortable futon. Three sliding glass doors allow you access to the huge deck which is a hop-skip-and-a-jump from the lake.  Enjoy cooking outside, each cabin has a Weber grill, a picnic table and a fire ring.  Included in the cabin rental is one dock slip and the use of the Water Toys.
